LET'S TALK ABOUT PADLET !




Padlet can be a great classroom tool for small groups of students participating in collaborative research. To help organize the board, students can post driving questions about their topic, and as they find answers during the research process, they can post them under each driving question.

Padlet works as an app on phones or can be accessed on the Padlet website. It is easy to set up an account and there is a function that integrates google classroom accounts with Padlet, eliminating the need for even more login details.

To add students to the boards, teachers can send out a unique QR code or a link to the board. Adding elements to the Padlet board is also super simple with a drag and drop function, "+" icon in the lower right corner, the option to paste from your clipboard, and more.

Padlet takes the idea of the notice board and makes it digital, so it's enhanced. This creates a space for teachers and students in education to share but in a way that's actually better than the real-world version.

Unlike a physical notice board, this space can be populated with rich media, including words and images as well as videos and links too. All that and it's instantly updated for anyone sharing the space to see right away.

Everything can be kept private, made public, or shared with a specific group. This is just one of the education specific features that shows the company built this with the needs of teachers and students in mind.

What is Flipgrid? Flipgrid app is an app that makes giving homework, measuring readiness level and getting feedback more efficient and enjoyable.  What is Kahoot? What is Kahoot is a website that makes the repetition of the topics covered in the lessons more enjoyable thanks to the joint use of components such as mobile phones, computers, tablets and smart boards. The aim here is to learn in a fun way and to reinforce the course content. You can find content on many courses and topics on the site, or you can also prepare and use a re-exam (quiz) if you want. To summarize, it is an application for interactive online quizzes. Another alternative to Kahoot is Quizizz. In order to use the Kahoot application, we need to create an account. To create a new membership , let's click on the sign up link on the homepage of the Kahoot website . Since we need an account to create Kahoots, let's choose the link as a teacher. What is Storybird? Storybird is a free book creation site. Although its interface is in English, it is very easy to use and is a useful educational tool especially for language teachers such as Turkish, English and German. Students can read created books; They can write their own books, stories and poems. How to use? To read any book published on the Storybird site, it is sufficient to click on the "READ" category at the top when you first enter the site and choose one of the books that appear. If there is a projector or smart board in the classroom, you can easily find a book on the site and read it as a class. However, an account is required to create a book. One of the nice things about it is that the teacher can open an account, create a class, and invite students with the class code. Even parents can be included if desired.
