 What Is Plickers? Plickers is a fun question/test solving tool. You can use Plickers at any educational level. Although Plickers is one of the Web 2.0 tools, it is a great tool that does not require a separate technological tool for each student. One phone/tablet and projector/smartboard are sufficient to use Plickers in your classroom. For students, one answer sheet with QR codes is sufficient. For What Purpose Can We Use Plickers? To check students' prior knowledge, For end-of-course assessment, For subject evaluation, For unit or end-of-theme evaluation, For survey studies, To vote, Apart from these, you can use it for any purpose up to your creativity. For example; I have seen somewhere that it is used to take attendance of bussed students in the bus. How to Use Plickers The order of using Plickers is briefly as follows: Sign up for Plickers. What is Storybird? Storybird is a free book creation site. Although its interface is in English, it is very easy to use and is a useful educational tool especially for language teachers such as Turkish, English and German. Students can read created books; They can write their own books, stories and poems. How to use? To read any book published on the Storybird site, it is sufficient to click on the "READ" category at the top when you first enter the site and choose one of the books that appear. If there is a projector or smart board in the classroom, you can easily find a book on the site and read it as a class. However, an account is required to create a book. One of the nice things about it is that the teacher can open an account, create a class, and invite students with the class code. Even parents can be included if desired. SECOND LIFE

What is Second Life? Second Life is a social platform created not to be a game, but to create a 3D virtual world. Users create and transfer everything in that world to the platform. You can think of it like a 3D version of the internet. Just like there are websites on the internet, there are islands in second life, you can pay and buy an island or you can visit thousands of different categories of islands, if you pay and set up your own island, users somehow get informed about you and write the address (url) of the island. open and sell real items, sell in-game clothes etc. This is where the money issue comes into play. Trade is done with money called Linden dollars, and you can convert it to real dollars or bitcoins, so you can work with someone in overtime, just like in real life, in return you earn Linden and turn it into real money because the owner of the workplace you work for also earns Linden from the visitors.
